Health Week Continues; Countdown to Walk-a-thon

We are ending our 2017 health week gym and classroom presentations with the following presentations and instructions.

Relaxation and Stress Reduction for School-Related Anxiety (Test or Performance) by Jenna Hedglen-Smith, Psy.D. of Michelle Cutler, Ph.D., & Associates.

In classroom presentation on added sugar in foods by Dr. Jacob Smith.

Lobes of the Brain and What They Do by Dr. Kirsten Moisio, PT, PhD.

Dance classes by All About Dance.

Presentation on Self-Compassion by  Kristen Friedman, Psy.D of Michelle Cutler, Ph.D. & Associates.

Bollywood dancing class by Bollywood Groove.

Presentation on the risks of sun exposure, the benefits of developing good sun protection habits as a teen, correct sunscreen application and re-application and the benefits of sun protective clothing by Natalie Theriault nurse practitioner at Dermatology + Aesthetics.

Tomorrow is Family Fitness Night (4:30-6:00 pm). Join your teachers, classmates and parents for some healthy fun.

Drawing for free swim lessons (up to $250) by FOSS Swim School. Presentation on Positive Discipline Techniques by Angie Rush, LCSW.

End the evening with a dine around at URBAN BELLY (4-8 pm) -don’t forget to mention Pritzker.
